I've got the Bridgestones on my car. I was at a car show in Loveland on the Saturday after the 4th and was giving some one a tour. He touched the tires and commented on how sticky they were with all the little pebbles attached. It was in the 90's and they were really almost melted! It was amazing. When I left about an hour later I also noticed how "grippy" they felt. I'm happy - in colder temps they behave well, and as the ambient temp goes up they become like gummy bears. Very nice tires.
I'll infer they don't last long though. My recollection from when I got them to what they are now (after about 1600 miles) is that I'm somewhere about 1/3 down on treadware. So if these are 5000 mile tires before they turn into racing slicks you're doing good.
