Well, yesterday I started moving in a new direction. More fun with my Ford GT, my wife, my kids, and grandchildren. As I have been working on this change for some 10 1/2 months it finally came to fruition Wednesday when we closed the sale of my Ford Dealership here in Texas City, Texas. As some of you know my Family has owned this Dealership for 50 years this past December and I Celebrated my 42nd Anniversary on June 1st (not planned). I have had many great experiences, met many great people and done more than anyone could guess.:banana I felt it was time to let a much younger person take over my Ford Dealership. I did not exit because of Fords position in the Automobile Market today, as I am higher on Ford today than I've been in a long while. In fact I purchased a large sum of Ford stock yesterday as I can truly say I'M VERY HIGH ON FORD. They are headed in the right direction with the right Management ,leadership, great products in the pipeline, fantastic enthusiasm from their employees and there dealers. They are cutting the expenses to be lean and mean in the future. Enough said. Here's where I'm going. I plan on handling a few classic and collector cars and have already purchased a new building and office to work out of. (I couldn't just sit at home, (Sue won't allow it?), I gotta be moving and busy. :thumbsup I am very fortunate to have found the right person for my Dealership, the Community, my Employees, customers and Ford Motor Co. Today I'm estatic about this move. I have a perminent GRIN on my face:wink. I spent quite a while on the telephone with Carroll Shelby as we go way back. His comments were "Hell Tomy, You'll have more fun now with your cars and not be tied down with a Dealership, employees, and all that goes with it. You'll be happier with a lot less on your shoulders". God Bless Carroll, and I'll get to see him more. Well Thats it for now and now ON TO LAS VEGAS and PARTY TIME WITH THE GREATEST BUNCH ON GT OWNERS IN THE WORLD. :cheers Dave you the man lets get it own. Carroll is pumped and Rick Titus is clearing his calendar trying to make it. PS GT service is still tops in Texas City (cook Ford) except I have to pay retail now:thumbsdow. Outta here Tomy Hamon

Congrats Tomy, look forward to seeing you soon!

Thank you very much for the very nice comments and best wishes. I am very excited about the new direction of my life. I will continue to offer cheap advise as to the Automobile Business from the Dealer side and from the public side. I think I'm an expert on both now, as I just purchased two new vehicles and insured and registered 4 vehicles. Wow was that an eye opener. I'm helping the economy of TEXAS. As Daniel would say GOD BLESS THE GOOD OLD USA. Tomy Hamon PS Thanks again and on with the FUN.
