Mc P1 vs. C7 Z at COTA

An instructor in a C7 Z06 chasing around a P1. The disparity in acceleration on the straights is ridiculous.

Love the way the P1 wing automatically goes flat when it accelerates. Very cool.

That was my thought, too. Either that, or new to the track. He sure didn't drive it very aggressively until he was sure he was pointed straight ahead.

That would be my guess.

They MSRP around ~$1.2m and asking prices seem to be around $1.7m-1.8m. Not sure if they actually move at those amounts though.

1. Get a Z06
2. Get 15 more Z06s for your closest friends to run interference

Its nice to see a P1 getting used properly.That being said It clearly illustrates the superior power to weight ratio of the P1 .
But even taking that into consideration.The ZO6 driver is a better driver as evidenced by his lines.

The c7 looks like the only time they caught up was when the P1 was blocked. Maybe he will be back this Saturday or next. We are going out there both weekends

Agree. The Corvette would not be keeping the P1's taillights in sight if the drivers were reversed.
