Looking for a Paint Sample From a Broken Wheel

Despite some of these comments, I found BBS to be easy to deal with. I contacted them about touch-up paint for the wheels and they gave me a bottle. The code on the bottle is Silver DSK 09.40.061S. Don't know how helpful this is.

Might be very helpful. DSK in BBS lingo stands for Diamond Silver with clear coat, a reasonably common paint used in the era (I found references to it in circa 2004 on wheels from other cars).

Question for you, can you post a picture of the touch up paint container?

Successful paint match/tint is an art. I had a wheel ding repaired by a mobile repair guy. He uses two part PPG products. He did a perfect match to the BBS original color and texture. So it can be done. I am very observant and detailed with my GT (and others) so I did not oversee a mis-match. Just need to find the right guy with the eye/brain ability to match it.

Agree, next step is to acquire a bottle of touch up paint. I'll call PPG next week.

Not for me.....same thing when I bought wheels for my Diablo, painted black....so had those repainted. The difference was all the information was easy to come by.
