I found it, Kendall rationalized with the owner that he'd no longer have to deal with the constant maintenance if he sold it to us, so he threw it in his trailer and hauled it up to Cooltech headquarters........ now we're fighting over the pink slip...

I've had Teddy's GT for the past 6 weeks or so. We just completed a rear bumper delete, lowering, Heffner exhaust, etc. (No, it didn't take us that long but Teddy has been finishing his Garage - and Ryan wanted something to drive back and forth to school...) But, I digress. When Teddy came over, his newly transformed GT (he had literally only seen it one other time) was parked as you see it and the Bronco was in the shop on the lift. I kid you not, Teddy walked right past the GT and right into the shop to check out the Bronco! :biggrin

When we moved the Bronco for a picture, I made the same comment about the handbrake. Teddy said if it slipped, he'd probably run over to the Bronco's bumper and hope it hadn't pushed into the body. :lol

Good stuff. Anyway, the Bronco is cool. Original owner, original bill of sale, etc. Even the license plate frame is from the Ford dealership in Arizona where it was purchased. We're going to make a good driver out of it. We will leave the body original, restore the interior, and re-fresh the drivetrain with a few more HP up-front.

Stay tuned. (I didn't let Teddy take the pink slip just yet!)

Glad to see that Teddy's got a new GT and rejoined the brotherhood. #1350 still resides here in Fort Worth. Can't wait for some better weather!

1st Generation Broncos

That is the only old SUV that I like better than my CJ-5. It's getting hard to find originals that have not had the wheel wells cut. That Arizona example probably has very little rust too. What a great find!!

I have built a lot of Bronco's over the years. They are great rigs. You can build them up just about any way you want. Here is mine, It is called "RIGOMORTIS" You get stiff when you drive it. It was in Off Road magizine in May of 1995. We have taken it everyware. :eek
