Diesel is 2 1/2 Yrs old now and he is posing as he protects all my toys on the 2nd level showroom. Best Dog I have ever had. Kind, playful and protective but spooked by the dark. He can't even recognize me from 20 feet away at night.

His sister's ashes are on my workbench in the workshop below the showroom and keeps me company as I work on finishing the 63 SWC. Bottom of car has been cleaned - removed 48 years worth of road garbage. Restored Wheels go on this weekend and then I will refresh the wheel wells. Engine bay refresh should be done next week and then I start on the interior. Hoping the car will be done this winter.

Is that a Ferrari sticker on your GT?
You need to cut the muffler tips down!

I have the Ida exhaust system on my car and with the bumper delete, it sticks out a bit. Looks old school like a GT 40.

Could not agree with you more. I took a long hard look at my exhaust tips after Kendall did my bumper delete and decided to keep them long and not cut them off. The yellowing of Stainless Steel over time makes it look even more nostalgic.

.............or did you go to KO's

I need to get the originals I have for the 65 restored and I know you were on the same quest a while back

I too have a similar security system, although this is the older, somewhat less effective model. Here it is in the fully armed and alert mode

Mike, I actually refurbished my hubcaps using the original parts. The aftermarket stuff is shit. The car came with WW Knockoffs and I restored those myself. Effectively, I will end up with 2 sets. The KO's will have a redline and the wheel hubcap will have the polyesters on it. I'll email you some pictures.

BTW, I still have a brand new windshield that was sent to me by mistake. If you want it, its yours.

Great pictures of the security system and the cars. 63 looks wonderful and you are correct about the after-market parts for the C-2 Vettes. Looking forward to seeing the car with the original wheel covers.

PS: Meant to mention that I saw a SWC on the (new to me) Mobil 1 Oil commercial while watching the F-1 practice session on Friday. Clearly, the 63 SWC has been and always will be iconic.
