Not surprising that Keating is not running the GT next year.
Most interesting thing in the article is:

A total of four Ford GTs are understood to have been sold to customers, with the identities of the three other owners not yet having been disclosed by the Blue Oval.

One, however, is understood to be a Texas-based businessman who could take part in selected Asian Le Mans Series races with the car, with another understood to be evaluating an ELMS effort for next year.

Could be in a bow-tie soon.... he DOMINATED this weekend in Austin at COTA in an AMG (not Wynns). GT is coming to here to Texas.

With no Ford backing the Keating Ford GT has lots of race history and is very valuable and who would want to take a chance in wrecking it? Fords backing and support was for only one race and that was 2019 LeMans non Professional Class!

This information is not correct. Sportscar365 is the best website for all things road racing (IMO) so I'm not sure who is misinforming them. The cars are potentially for sale, not sold.

Would be nice to see someone out there run these cars.
