Still, it'd be cool to have as a "track" car...
 
Larry, calm down, a little bondo, some neat sheeeeet out of the Griot catalog and she will be good as new. Where is the SHADOWMAN when we need him, a couple of years in Bill's shop and she will still be a pos with a salvage tittle. Calm down, this is a great rainy day project for a guy from the Northwest.:lol

I love this part: "The car seems to have driven over maybe a rock and the bottom of the rocker panel us pushed up. Can’t really see inside, but this car is such a tight fit, the rocker is up just a hair and the door moves up just a hair before it closes. Few body hours and this is perfect and door closes 100%"

All "funnin' " aside, this just HADTA make the owner sick when it happened. It makes ME sick & I'm just lookin' at it. And the fact that it's "almost" BLUE makes this whole situation "hit a weeeee too close to home" for my likin'!

'Wundur whut th' reserve is??? ... $51K isn't "there" yet.

Third time the seller has peddled this one in the last two weeks. It keeps hitting around $80,000 and not meeting reserve. Wonder what he paid the insurance company for it? He may have honestly thought it was a $100,000-plus vehicle, even in this condition. If so, this may be the first case of a dealer/business asking an unrealistic price on a crashed GT. And just like those dealers asking $250K awhile back, he may soon wish he'd taken the initial offer and ran.

The car's value ain't going up with each ebay posting. There's a joke in here somewhere about "damaged goods" but I'm too apathetic about this car to find it. For less than $50K to $60K I'd actually consider it, but only for a parts car. Above $60K it's just an expensive wreck.

Huuum….. at $50K she could be an interesting project……… at anything more I feel that it likely better as a parts car. Having shared this (sadly) someone will swoop it up and either akin to a patch work quilt make her pretty again or be presented with one heck of an eye opener if the desire is to return her back to her true OEM state. Apparently (I think this is the same gal) that Orange County Choppers and the fact that Paul wrecked it added no value LOL. I think that initially they thought as with bugs to a light that people would be drawn to her based on who sat in her seat. This ad is what I might have expected from PT Barnum of days gone past; sad and insulting.

This is scope and magnitude project that as Bony states will forever be a gal with salvage title. This in itself is huge because insurance companies are becoming understandably less interested in insuring such gal.

Then lastly; if purchased what is the potential litigation as mentioned that one might be subject too as well.

I would say that this gal needs a team such as The GT Guys and then only if the deal is extreme.

This is the third salvage GT I have seen from the same dealer, all different VINs. Be careful when buying a used GT, several states allow you to convert a salvage title after an inspection.
 
and what is up with all the wrecks? I have not even gotten a wheel out of place and I have been on a track going 140 MPH and I am not that good of a driver!

OVER 450 TOTALS....out of a fleet of 4038 with a fleet average of total less than 6 million miles... would you underwrite a FGT?
 
looks like at least 30-40K in damage...but if the chassis isn't perfect then it's not worth a dime.
