.......but I did not pay attention then because I didn't want one. :lol

I am looking for a nice Ford GT diescast. I have tried searching obviously through Yahoo and such but I not finding the one I want. I like the two race versions I have seen from Autoart, but they seem to be sold out everywhere. Plus no one has them in my car color, Tungsten. Do you guys just stake out ebay and hope for the best or any of you have links to where I might find this. Any help is appreciated. :cheers

BTW......wouldn't it be cool to have a custom one made with the Matech racing scheme?? :cool

Do a search here. There is an older, very long thread on where to find toy cars of all sizes. BEWARE - most of them are RED!

Hey Tom, if you get one, you gonna say you're a "2 GT Owner"? LOL.

What I am planning, but have not found the time.... is get the $140 Auto Art version and paint it (I have the model already). As I have no stripes, that makes the process easier. These only came in Red, yellow, and white ?? (cant remember...) I do have the LMP car and it is pretty cool.

I haven't seen onein tungsten, but Google "2005 Ford GT AMT/ERTL #38460"
It is a 1:25 plastic model kit. with a midnight blue 1:64 johnny lighting diecast included. You could assemble the plastic kit in what ever color you want to paint.

I looked at taking apart an autoart 1:18 version and repainting, but it seems like more trouble than it is worth.
