Gentlemen,

A very cool short computer simulated video of NASA's mission to Mars. We use to go to the Moon, we use to operate the only Space Shuttles, we use to send rovers to other planets, and we use to put massive telescopes in space. This is the last of the Mars rover missions. Watch and relish the type of cool stuff that America use to do.

On behalf of our friends at JPL.

We're NASA and we know it!

Yep, the beach ball landings of Spirit and Opportunity were ground breaking. But the sky crane landing of Curiosity kicks serious ass. Sure took some balls to expect all that to work, but work it did. Nasa has some seriously cool engineers hanging around the coffee machine these days. I stayed up and watched the Curiosity landing live. Cool to see those guys cry with all the emotion of success. Just outstanding. NASA used to host an annual open house in the 90's at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. I went for a couple of them. Great to see this cool work up close. Nice job NASA.

My head literally hurts trying to comprehend the awesomeness of that landing.

I can watch that over and over.

All that distance, millions of variables and still right on target.

12192 MPH. Can a GT go that fast?????

This is really rocket science.

If you want to see a good flick or read a book about the early days look up Homer Hickam and see the movie Rocket Boys or read the book (best choice) October Sky.

Someone here whose grandmother grew up in or near Coalwood, W Va lives in my little redneck town in the rockies.
