How early did fuel door change?

I have a customer that asked me this and i have asked an enginer i deal with at Ford and he wasen't sure either. Thought maybe someone on here might know or has it on there car. I have only seen it once where the fuel door says ford gt on the door. It was on a very low number car i was working on and another customer happend to see it and wanted one. Thanks for the info.

Didn't change. THe only cars that had the logo cap on them were the concept cars. There are a few caps wondering around out there...and a couple of people have had them custom made.

If you have the rick titus dvd,its has the fuel door with "ford gt" on it.

Tha car it was on was number 4 so it makes sense.
