Hello

a friend of mine has damaged his driver side fender, front bumper, driver side headlamp lens cracked and the square panel between the front and the lifting hood is cracked. Where can he find replacement parts and how much would it cost him to repair it and make it original again ?

Thanks

Well it won't be original again. Some of these parts are out there, you might try Dan (@B.M.F. ). I would recommend fixing whatever you can though.

No idea on costs....except not cheap. Pictures would help people estimate this though....

You can get some replacement parts from Ford. You will have to prove ownership, for Ford to supply you parts. Unfortunately, Ford no longer has 100% spare parts for the GT, and items like the headlights and the front subframe(if your friend's is bent) are no longer available. Your best bet is to engage one of the known GT builders/rebuilders as to the feasibility/cost of a repair.

The only way to tell is to get a parts list and head to a dealer. Be prepared for (1) sticker shock and (2) "backorder" status on many parts. Historically, "backoder" has meant "never again" although a few service items like struts do seem to come in. Forget body panels. Repair or from salvage parts cars.

This is where things get troublesome. The front frame members are replaceable but availability is a concern. The problem is you won't know if they are needed until a real expert looks at the car. Don't trust your local, even high end Ferrari type, body shop.

Do you see any signs of body panel fit issues on the passenger side? Look along the "frunk" and the fender/door.
