Hi, this is the first time i've needed heat in several years. Blower works fine. No heat though. Any likely cuase? Test process says to remove cover from Climate control module. Where is that located?

Thx, Tom

Funny that you say that, I drove my car yesterday and heat doesn't work in it, either...........no idea why, not sure I've ever turned the heater on before........

I did find out that there is a diagnostic that can be done by holding the a /c & recirc button down while you turn ign key to on. You then count the flashing a/c & recirc display lights to get the code. My code says that there was an under voltage condition that may have not have allowed the temp flow flap to engage. Maybe its related to a newly installed battery? I'm still not sure how to fix it. Im going to try disconnecting power to see if it will reset. Hopefully its not a control servo as they are buried deep in the dash.

Anyone know where th temp control module is located and how to access it?

Your mixture door is likely stuck. Not a fun thing to try to fix. Very very hard to get to. I hope this is not your problem....

if it is very hard to get to and expensive then I am sure that is what will be wrong :)

Bump for a bit more of Shelby's wisdom on the subject.

Not really. We fished a very small video camera inside of one to diagnose the problem one time and were able to get in there the same way to lube it, but was difficult, and only worked the one time. Other times it has proven to be unsuccessful

Ala Team Jeff. Sounds like this could be it.

OP, just noticed you're in AZ. If you know Jeff, get his help on this.

Thanks...spoke with Jeff. This does appear to be the problem. I will give an update once I inspect the blower door w/ a camera.

Update to MY no heat issue

Like I said in my eariler post,if would be difficult and/or expensive to fix, it is what my car would need. The blend door stuck, shop was unable to fix without doing this:

Yikes, that looks like a major operation! Wonder if operating the blend door once in a while weather you need to or not helps it not get stuck. I try and remember to do that when I run the car. Don't know if that helps or wears it out faster.

I think it definitely helps Rick. No matter the weather, I cycle through all the controls every time I get in the car.

Do you have to charge down the AC for this task?

Is there a way to un-stick it with some compressed air? Amaizing what you can to with a little air.
