Here are some shots of the GTX1 at the Miami Grand Prix IRL race. I was invted by the track and city of homestead to have the car in an exhibit. I had a fun day and thought I would share.

Looks great, can you photoshop out the Ferrari GTO replica with the Dayton wheels... and the Cobra fakey-do with the short roll bar and giant bass speaker? Takes a lot away from you pictures.

well the cup cars (and that 500K Corvette) as well as my GTX1 are real (I also added another race car pic) :thumbsup .......... the Cobra and Ferrari replica only come out in one (and a 1/2) pictures...I'll survive...

BTW the Ferrari guy backed up into the spot before they roped it off (he was not supposed to be there) and that Cobra had a real 427 under the hood and a stunning color up close , it is actually a very dark green...bad ass Cobra, bass speaker or no bass speaker.

At least the 962 is real! I would do anything for a 962.

MK2 - your car looks fantastic.

Just a small observation though - why do the GTX wheels on your car look different to those on the GTX prototype?

The prototype rims are a similar design to yours but have spokes which extend to the edge of the rims - whereas yours have more of a pronounced "lip" to the rim? Have genaldi changed the design?? I was hoping to buy a set of the original type as fitted to the prototype - do you know if they are still produced?

Thanks!

Think it looks better. Personally, I thought the "prototype" wheels were yhe ugliest I have ever see.

Speaking about wheels------ seen the new spinner wheels (or whatever they are called) where the wheel spokes or whatever stay stationary ? Looks like the car is in a 4 wheel skid when it stops. Bizarre watching some kid pull up to a light behind other cars.

dealmaker,
The new wheels are the ones being produced. They actually look stunning in person.

I believe the original prototype wheels had some production issues.

here is a close up

Looks good, but a little to "poofer" for me, I'll take my hardtop anyday. Does the GTX1 have paddle shifters?
