Well, it's been a long, cold and snowy winter in Quebec. We had over 250 CM of accumulation since November; a long time record (booooo). I took my Viper out a few times over the past week...and am waiting for the roads to clear up a bit more - (lot's of sand and dirt), before putting the GT back on the road. Can't wait to get her out and running down the highways!:thumbsup

My Z06 didn't much like it's hibernation this winter. She decided to kill the bendix, so I'm waiting for the new starter before I take her out.:frown

I know of a few GT's around here in Hudson...but they're not on the forums. Anyone out there in the Montreal area on here?

I keep waiting for the sand and gravel to get washed away. I went to Phoenix (for the Bondurant class) and then to Vegas and last weekend we had enough snow at home that there was a new layer of sand and gravel on all the roads when I got home, so the GT is under warps for another couple of weeks.

The good thing is I had time to start taxes today. Will finish tomorrow!

I figure another week or two
Can't wait, been driving ZR1 a few times, man am I sick of winter

I was in Quebec City a few weeks back to watch my daughter participate in Red Bull Crashed Ice and although I'm accustomed to the prairie winters I can honestly say the humidity in the wind there almost killed me...... Spent the last few weeks in Phoenix in beautiful spring weather so I am getting anxious to fire up the gt back home here in Alberta but I'm afraid the roads will be to sandy for several weeks yet......The wait gets harder every spring!!!

It's warm in Newport Beach

I am 10 minutes "south of the border" in upstate NY. Beautiful weekend. Lake Champlain clear of ice. Cleaned the heavy load of sand at the foot my driveway. A couple days of rain to clear the roads (road crews out probably end of April,) and we will be good to go!! Some motorcycles out yesterday. Even riskier than driving the GT without traction control!!

Living in the North east I understand the pain of waiting for worthy car weather. I tend to be premature in taking my cars out.Than I always regret it.The salt and sand are just killers and it is never warm enough to wash outside comfortably .With age I have now learned to be more patient.Still just as painful though…...

I don't mind it. I like taking a break from the fast cars because it makes them more exciting in the spring.

Think of it this way Ron, between the two of us, we have 50,000+ miles on our cars, and that's with the cars sitting in a garage for 5 months out of the year. I'd rather drive the fun stuff a lot for a few months a year vs. taking it out to go 10 miles a week year round.

Agreed, makes the cars much more special on those blue sky days.

Plenty of SUVs, beaters, etc. for the slop weather.

"It's warm in Newport Beach."

Wise guy. That really made me laugh.

All sunny there in Newport beach is it? :)

85 with blue skies in Arizona yesterday (and today... and tomorrow). Of course it will probably be in the 100's in a week or two.

I managed to take her out to the work shop, install all the new parts and also a 1 hour drive to the dyno to get her a Torrie tune.
It took little longer then expected and I was finished around 20:30, by then it was dark, -5 celcius and some ice spots on the road.
Now I am waiting until it not freezing temp outside and till they cleaned the roads from salt and gravel.

But I have to admit I tried a WOT once and yes it was scary as hell :)

WOT in -5c....you got some big balls there GTS! LOL
