GT Availability--where was it and where headed?

I did not seriously begin looking at GTs till about 2 months ago and then bought one shortly thereafter. I am not fickle enough to buy a car as an "investment"--I buy a car because I like it and I drive them, I must say, however, I became more interested when Sports Car Market magazine gave the GT its highest investment grade earlier this year.

It seems there are a steady dozen or so on ebay and 50ish on autotrader but the latter is not a good barometer since some cars languish there after being sold.

My question to those of you who have been around here awhile is how does this compare to a year or 2 ago? And, where do you see availability in 5 years?

But with 4000+ cars built, I think appreciation is more than unlikely, it's impossible.

Not necessarily. At the rate GT's have been (and pbly will continue to be) wrecked, it's not beyond the realm of reason to see some appreciation as long as the DEMAND for the dwindling supply of cars remains steady...or increases. But regardless, it's not too likely prices will be SKYROCKETING over the next 2-3 yrs by any stretch of the imagination.

'Just my 2 cents...
