There's been a bunch of media coverage on the 1964 prototype GT40 that Bob Bondurant & Richie Ginther drove to a Third at the '65 Daytona Continental. I posted a piece on it and included this original Shelby American photo of #72 in action in 1965. It's estimated at $5-7 million, which almost sounds cheap compared to the prices of historic racecars recently crossing the block.
