Just picked this up from Autoblog.
German Tuner's - Geiger Ford GT HP790

--
Geiger, the German tuner with a fascination with American performance cars, generally produces modified vehicles in not-so-subtle and "look at me!" variations. This Ford GT encompasses both varietys, with plenty of performance upgrades to boot. Geiger has previously modified the Blue Oval's retro supercar and ended up with impressive results - 701 horsepower, 617 lb-ft torque, and 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds.

This latest version takes it one step further, and the 5.4-liter V8 now produces 790 horsepower and 637 lb-ft torque thanks to a larger 4.0-liter supercharger that replaces the stock 2.3-liter unit as well as a larger throttle body and a new air filter. Geiger claims the same 0-100 km/h time of 3.5 seconds, probably limited by traction, but top speed has been stretched to 223 mph.

Here are the pics.
(Noticing three items out of place the normal GT )
1. Headlight washer nozzles (European standard i believe)
2. Side marker bulb on Fenders
3. Additional Signal/Reflector within foglight housing

Andrew - no Hot Buttons?....... they are not connected! :thumbsup

and yes, the three items are what has to be modified if you are to bring the FGT into Europe. If there was a bumper I also believe that you needed an additional fog lamp/ parking lamp on the drivers side per what Nielda states.

The color - well, my eyes are still bleeding :eek

This may be one of those colors a person actually hasta see 'in person' to appreciate (cameras aren't too friendly to some hues). But, simply looking at these photos makes me wanna reach for the Tums myself.

'Looks like they may have borrowed Lambo's color...or mixed one darn close to it ('little darker?). Side by side there pbly wouldn't be 5 cents 'difference.

'Would be interesting to see their "new air filter", as that harks back to a discussion here on The 'Forum on that very subject regarding the NEED for same in conjunction with the installation of a Gen III Whipple.

I am usually a big fan of the wild colors on exotic sports cars, but it just does not seem to work on the GT. Verde Ithica is my favortie color on a lambo. Crazy how it doesnt work on the GT.....
Further, If I was gonna go to all the trouble and expense of a total repaint, whipple, suspension, wheels... I dont think I would have skimped on the bumper delete with the homemade job.
I admire all the work that went into here. From pics, paint quality looks great.

I instantly think "The Riddler" from Batman.

Hmmm ... I don't know why.

The color makes me think of the GT3RS. I think she looks pretty good, I would not trade for mine, the opposite.... Black no stripes.

1. Love the wheels.
2. I keep thinking of Kermit the Frog. :biggrin

And the Porsche comparison is pretty dead on. I do like it as outrageous as it looks though.

What does everyone think of the wheels?

"The Ford GT chassis has been similarly upgraded, lowered by 60 mm with a K&W coilover suspension which is adjustable for bump and rebound. The car has been fitted with 9×20 inch wheels with 245/35 R20 Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tyres at the front and 11×21 inch wheels with 325/30 R21 tyres at the rear".

I wonder what speed rating those Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tyres are? Interestingly they dont give the model of tire for the rear I suspect they are a different rating on the rear and they dont want to publicise the fact?

edit: Just looked an can only find these rear tyres in a "W" rating (they are BMW X5 tires) - so only good to 168Mph - not suitable IMHO? They supposedly also make a "Z" rating in this size but I cant find them anywhere?

I like it. Don't know if I would have it but agree that in person it could even be better.

It isn't any brighter than my school bus yellow GT. When I look at it I say - that is a lot of yellow. When I get in it I say "holy sh_it - that is A LOT OF YELLOW". But I like it.

I wish Ford had done other colors and combos. I like the black and gold, also would have liked a gold and black. They should have done all of he colors of the original racers as an option, just like they did with the Heritage.
