Fan of McLaren, fan of Gulf, not sure I'm a fan of the combo. Could just be the graphic layout.

Would look good on a road course.

I'd prefer the 'orange' be limited to the full, original GT40 Heritage pattern. 'Too much orange below the beltline and back aft for my old fashioned self. But, "different strokes..."

I darn sure wouldn't kick it out of my garage!

Ugh! I don't think that nose and mouth need that emphasis. And the fat black stripe. Does not work for me. Maybe it needs a bunch of Gulf stickers and roundels. No, that wouldn't help.

Damn! That is a hot collection of cars. Even though they were uncompetitive, watching (and hearing) the last gen of LMP Aston Martin cars in Gulf livery going around Le Mans was spine tingling. Not sure I can get down with a Gulf Lambo though!

Everything looks better with that real pale Gulf blue.

OMG, that's awesome.

A friend of mine gave me a copy of the Jun 2011 issue of Octane Magazine that featured the Gulf cars. As much as I love the GT40 and Ford GT (both featured) there will never be anything to compare to the Porsche 917.

The pictures in the article were also from the ROFGO collection.
