All,
I have no affiliation with this, so just passing along. There was a post on Facebook in one of the GT40 groups about RCR selling the cars from the movie. I reached out to the original poster to get additional details. If nothing else, the details on the movie cars are interesting

All cars were built with LS3 crate engines and Porsche 6-speed transaxles and are aluminum monocoque and tube frame construction. The engines are "good for 490HP."

There are three P3 Ferraris remaining at $215k each
There are two cars from the Daytona race at $150k each
There is one Bucknum #5 car at $175k
And one Miles car that Bale used extensively at $250k

He also sent me about 15 pictures that I wont bother posting (mainly because it is too hard)

From the pictures, it looks like they also have Astons, Corvettes, and Cobras but I only inquired about the GT40s and Ferraris

If anyone wants Tory's contact information, let me know.

Again, no affiliation with this and please perform due diligence if interested.

Tony Hunt, who lives near me, was one of the principal stunt drivers (he did all of Bale's driving) in the movie. He bought the repro Cobra #98 from the movie & has brought it to local C&C events.

How do I get more information on a P3?

I believe the Fords used in the movie were all Superformance cars.

That is not true at all. The Cobras were Superformance as well as two "Hero" GT40s. All of the other GT40s ( including the Miles car in the movie poster) were RCRs. As were the Ferraris , Astons & Jags .
They provided 28 car to the movie . There are extensive pics on their website.

Thanks Ron,
Thats consistent with what Tory thought. His understanding was Superformance rented 2 cars to the filmmakers. One of which is headed to auction. But Superformance seems to be getting all the press.

Awesome. Great looking cars. And movie history as well. Which one did you get?

No thanks.

I'm sure Enzo is less thrilled about a Chevy powered Ferrari:cool:

Tory said they got a cease and desist from Ferrari, so I guess these 3 will be the only ones.

If they use GM engines in the Fords, Ford should send them a cease and desist warning as well.

Pete Brock's own Daytona Coupe has a GM engine.

I loved the movie and seeing all the cars in it.

If anyone is interested in a Scarab continuation car let me know. In many ways the Scarab paved the path for Carroll Shelby and the Cobras. Almost 60 years ago, Carroll Shelby raced the Scarab at the Continental Divide. In this race, Shelby obtained pole position, broke track record, was his last race win, and he secured the USAC Championship. Ironically, Shelby American opened for business in Venice, California, in June 1962 in the former home of Lance Reventlow’s Scarab racer. It's all aluminum body and can be used for racing or street. Some pictures of mine at the San Diego International auto show.

What’s the ticket price for this? And, I presume street legal?
