Darn, hoped for some new info. Guess I've become a gt geek, as that didn't tell me anything new. Only thing I noticed, is on the race car, no camera and radar where the street cars exhaust exits.
You always here automakers saying this about the tires on their supercars, and I wonder how much truth there actually is to it. Obviously they're sized specifically for the GT, but as far as the actual compound, how far do they go on making them "bespoke". I suspect this is an answer that we'll never get, but it'd be interesting to know.
These are the sizes per DBK... Of course I have no idea if these are THE tires.. but the prices aren't bad. Certainly within a track-day budget. Only brand available on the rack for those sizes.

Yea, anyone can buy those off the rack, but if the Ford GT tires are indeed actually a bespoke compound, are you forced to buy them from a Ford dealer to get that specific compound?
