I believe you can file with the equivalent of that country's IRS And get most if not all of your VAT back. You have to prove your citizenship and when and how it is shipped or has left the country permanently.

Not street legal (at least not in the USA). But other than that, great idea!

Wonder what the import duties would be on something like that...

Ron, this has been covered before. Desi (a member of this Forum) in Berlin, Germany, bought all those parts from Matech and kept them stored all these years. Several years ago he sold them all to someone else in Europe, but new buyer never named.

Well, someone we don’t know is sitting on quite a stash of goodies

Not what you might think. There were no headlights left, only 6 doors, various small engine parts and hoses, some electrical.
