ma.
For you newbies who want some cool insight in to the build process at the Wixom Plant .
Our own "GT tech" (forum name) Rich Robach doing the interview.

I suspect that some newbies may have watched that video (and any others that we could find) roughly 100 times before finding "the one" and watched them all over again while waiting for "the one" to arrive in the driveway after the closing the deal. I even forced my wife to watch a few with me in hopes of getting her to understand how special the GT really is, I've got a keeper since she obliged and didn't roll her eyes (at least not in front of me). It really is cool how the development and manufacture of the GT was so well documented.

In fact, it was exactly a year ago today that I found "the one" (or at least the first one):willy.

Thanks for posting!

Any idea where I can get a DVD copy of this video, I emailed through the Car Crazy website earlier this year but never heard back?

I have not seen that one in a while. I remember well the day we shot it. A few minutes of video took hours to shoot. In 90 degree heat, and a million percent humidity. It was fun, but for some reason, TV and Film people keep rejecting my demo of my new talk show and movie scripts. Wonder Why.

Thanks Ron, I must be geting old, I don't remember seeing this one, but I must have. :confused

Here is part 1 for those that missed it.

Me neither. Watched them both. Wow we are lucky to have these cars.

:agree:

The FGT is the only fastest and best handling car I ever bought, but the only one that didn't really depreciated at all!

Rich = a true professional .... and one heck of a guy. :thumbsup

Thank you for sharing.

We love Rich Robach! A real neat guy.Very interesting talking to him about his experiences in the Gt build program.Besure to have a chat with him at the next rally.

Also talk to Rich about his FGT videos on DVD. I just bought a set. :thumbsup

Thats awesome, thanks for sharing!

I gotta tell you though, that Meguiar guy creeps me out. I know he is a genuine guy, but when he interviews people he gets within inches of their face and is always touching them. It would make me very uncomfortable.

TX,
Don't get me started. I'm sure Barry is a nice guy, but seemed to be somewhat snobbish when the cameras were off. Totally the opposite of Jay Leno. When I met Leno, we chatted for quite a while about his GT, even though there were swarms of people wanting to meet him at the 2004 SEMA show. Barry was defiantly a touchy feely kind of guy when the cameras were rolling, and I'll admit I was somewhat uncomfortable the whole time. (stage fright?) Anyway, after selling Maguiers to 3M a few years ago, I'm sure he can afford to be anyway he wants.

Still can't understand why the networks or film studios won't return my calls, or letters. :ack

You did very well, if I had a guy that was 2" from my face and just seemed like he was going to give me a wet one at any minute, I would have been a bumbling idiot, LOL

Can you let us know where you were able to purchase the DVD? Thanks and Happy New Year!

And I get to say I knew Rich way back when! Back then he was a regular guy that a guy like me could walk up and he treated me like a regular guy.

Yikes!!!

:lol :lol :lol :lol

Yeah, that would have freaked me out too!! Jesus, he wraps his interview subjects in a passionate embrace so you can feel his breath with every word he speaks. I have had sex with women and never got that close to them. :willy :ack

What are you guys talking about? Barry has always been a great guy even off camera.
