Hello, where can purchase floor mats? If a customize set isn't available then a good approximate mat that will work. Just need to keep the flooring scratch free.

Thanks for your help.

Tom D, I didn't like any of the available floor mats because they did not protect the paint on the floors nor the paint up the sides. Consequently, I had custom mats produced by Calif Car Covers. Attached is the letter I sent to them if you want to modify my letter. Get them the way you want them and not how someone else wants to produce them.

That's interesting. Somehow it hadn't dawned on me that the floor and sideboard paint would get scratched. I can't believe the cheap price he charged you! 🍻

I also removed the OEM 'floor mats' and laid the new ones in. Did you lay your custom mats over top of the OEM mats? That seems like it'd be too thick, but then I didn't even try it.

Most of us store away the OEM mats; I have Andrews mats like yours without the vin #. No need to put the OEMs on the bottom which will make the fit annoying. BTW Andrew also sells Ferrari mats at the other site and most feedback is very positive.

Yes, I placed my custom floor mats over the top of the OEM rubber mats. Never had a problem and it eliminates having to remove all the glue under the OEM mats.

Wait until you drive some distance in the heat. You will appreciate the thick rubber mats underneath.

Well, when those OEM mats heat up they tend to seep and make a mess. I never had a heat issue with Andrew’s mats.

I’ve got a pair of Lloyd’s mats. Nearly new and work well. Happy to sell them.

I've got 15K miles on my mats and they still look like new. Calif Car Cover has many materials and colors to chose from, pick your poison. Only way to protect the floor paint is to have custom mats made. It's super easy. Just lay out some paper on your floors, cut it the way you want your mats to fit and mail the pattern to a mat manufacturer.

If you ever want to track your FGT, they require you to remove loose floor mats. Leaving the OEM mats glued in helps to keep your feet from sliding around on the track. The OEM mats do not need to be removed to track the car since they are glued to the floor.

I bought "select touring" carpet mats in black for $100 from these guys, but haven't put them in the car yet.

Another thing to watch out for from some other aftermarket floor mat suppliers is that they are not designed properly.

The mats that you have shown lay over the original floor mats which will obviously protect the two silver aluminum side sills. However they will slide all over the place and there will be a large hump on the top end of the matwith your factory mat in place.

If you remove your factory floormat and place these mats inside they will cave into the void that is left from the factory floor mats spot

my mats are designed to replace the factory floor mats and fit in and level off the void in the floor pan

Exoticar, you are absolutely wrong. My custom mats do not "slide all over the place" and there is no "large hump". Look at my pictures above. You do not know what you are talking about. I asked you years ago to make mats to cover the painted surface and you still have not offered these types of mats. Your mats do not protect the paint.
