Sound like a great plan to get the ball rolling.

I hope that the new box will included these features:

1. have machine screw inserts instead of the sh*t screws into plastic on the OEM version,
2. keeping the MAF cross section the same as OEM so a new tune won't be needed,
3. Heat resistant so it doesn't distort, discolor, or catch fire, especially for those still running an OEM muffler.
4. Group buy price less than $999.99. :biggrin

I know it should be a lot lighter than the OEM one. I was surprised at how heavy the OEM box is.

Never weigh it, but if felt a lot heavier than it looks. I would guess about 15+ lbs with filters.
