Gents –
With mixed feelings, I’m ready to sell my Ferrari 458. It’s an amazing no stories car that is impossible to fault.
I’ve had it for 18 months and put about 2800 trouble free miles on it.
It is light years above the F430 and arguably the best modern (non-GT) sports car out there.
I’ve hadn’t had as much time to play with it as I’d like, and am thinking it’s time to go in another direction.
For those of you fellow GT owners, you’ll find it a worthy companion, with all of the latest technologies.
Feel free to PM me with any sincere questions or interest.

2010 Ferrari 458
  • Gorgeous combination of black exterior and black interior with yellow stitching and lots of carbon fiber
  • Mileage ~ 4900
  • Has all of what I consider the desirable options, and missing nothing that I would have added
  • Window sticker: $272,416

PLUS additional >$10,000 of extras:
  • 4 black rims (currently mounted, 4 original Ferrari rims also included)
  • Extensive clear bra
  • Custom floor mats
  • Valentine-1 radar mount hard wired

Other Info
  • Full factory warranty - October 2013 (extended warranty available through Ferrari)
  • All keys, books, covers, charger, window sticker, tools etc…
  • Service records from authorized Ferrari dealer
  • Absolutely no prior accidents or paintwork
  • Absolutely no known mechanical or cosmetic issues
  • Car is available for the most discerning inspection

Asking only SOLD which would make it one of the lowest priced offerings on the market

These are truly fun cars, and the perfect compliment to GTs . I hate to see you give it up , but now someone else can have fun. It is the current F fun car, and F built it as a car that can be a daily driver.

Maintenance is not as often or extensive as the old days. I have roughly the same mileage on mine, and no real issues so far. And, as stated it is light years beyond the 430. Hope it finds a good home-- maybe here.

Mitchell the EPA City MPG of 12 mpg may scare some buyers away. :lol

Great car, good luck with the sale.

I have heard that the dual clutch cars get a little boring with age. Perhaps a little to perfect for a driver that enjoys life on the edge. The problem is these new dual clutch cars are the wave of the future. They are just so damn fast.

Boy, I have to say the dual clutch has not been boring for me, either on the 458, or Mac. And you are right it is the wave of the future. That's why I say, it is the perfect compliment to the mid engine, clutch GT. Drive the GT, and get that raw, control feel. Get in the 458 and feel like an F1 driver.

I try not to own cars that get more than 10 mpg. Less mpg = a lot more fun

I think you'll start to see more and more 458s up for sale, as their warrantees begin to reach expiration. I've heard clutch replacement out-of-warranty cost is astronomical. Good luck with your sale.

I came to the exotic/sports car world from the analog world of antique cars. With that in mind, I was initially skeptical of the dual clutch when I first got it.
At this point, I have to admit it is hard to beat the thrill of rapidly downshifting and keeping the car at 8000+ RPM.
They are SO VERY quick, they are a lot of fun. I'm not sure I would ever get another stick shift in a modern car, albeit another GT to keep mine company

The modern Ferraris have proven to be very reliable. The dual clutch transmission actually has a VERY long service free life expectancy. Believe it or not, this has probably been my most trouble free exotic car ownership experience.
On top of that, Ferrari actually offers factory extended warranties, so long as you sign up before the factory warranty expires.

No way a dual clutch gets boring. My GTR tranny makes my Superleggera Egear/single clutch feel antique. When lambo gets smart they will switch. And the performance speaks for itself.

Good luck on the sell, thats an evil looking car.

Having purchased my GT from Mitchell 4 years ago (has it really been that long?), I can say you won't have a better car buying experience.

He takes very good care of his cars, and it will be exactly as described.

Good luck with the sale, hope to see you at rally VII in ???????

Jaxgt best of luck with your sale. Beautiful and stunning F car.

Having the opportunity to drive the 458 in Italy's back roads last summer I'll say I was won over by the dual clutch and the paddles. Also drove the 430 and the 458 made that tranny seem obsolete (as did the suspension). So glad I finally experienced this new technology. BUT......glad I own an old fashioned Ford GT!

x 2. You'll never meet someone that gets the chance to drive a 458 on a winding road that doesn't end up a convert. Awesome.

For sure I will see you and your lovely wife at the next rally.
Though I am growing tired of never being able to keep up with you on the track :)
