Essex Wire "tribute" car

Since this year’s Rally is based around the race track I thought I would change my car up a little bit. I found a model of the 1966 Essex Wire #60 24 Hour LeMans car driven by Jacky Ickx and John Neerpasch and thought it would be a neat “tribute” car. We did just a quick, and temporary, vinyl kit to get the look. Enjoy the pics and see you at the Rally.

Up to now my all time favorite Ford GT was Donny Macs yellow/black Heritage custom painted car. Until I saw the photos you just posted. THAT is the best/coolest looking Ford GT IMO that exists. I love everything you did from every angle. I wouldn't ever change it. Wow. :thumbsup

Car looks great! by the way, I wonder what a GT would look like in a mirror wrap? someone should photoshop a black one to get the mirror look. I think it would either look GREAT, or terrible. Someone please do that, thanks
