Traded in my 100 original mile Black FGT to Shelby for his personal car... He had been working on me for a while to buy the car and I finally caved after a trip to his place where he let me drive some of his other toys :banana

Sitting back and reflecting on the chain of events his sales strategy was flawless... Needless to say after a couple hours of playing with 2.5M dollars worth of cars I was convinced that I had to make the trade :rofl

My all Black 997 TT and my 06 Solid Black FGT are heading out and a Carrera GT and McLaren SLR are coming in :biggrin

Oh, and a condition of the sale was that I get first dibbs when he decides to sell the black FGT... originally Chris Moody's car I received it with about 60 miles... put on 40 at the Vegas Rally and have been simply looking at her since then...

I guess it is a win win situation as I am getting something I have wanted for a long time and he will drive a car meant to be driven.. Still hard to see her go though...

WOW is right. The SLR is amazing, but I have NEVER heard an engine as wild as the Carrera GT. Truly drool worthy. I'm very happy for you. Wish I was a fly on the wall when those cars arrive at your place! Post pics. Congrats to you.

Congratulations! I've been considering doing the same thing, that is...buying a Carrera GT and/or McLaren SLR, but that means getting rid of one of the four GT's. Not sure I want to sacrifice a GT for another car!!!
