Hi everyone, been lurking for a while now but figured I'd wait until I received my vehicle to sign up and make a post. I've enjoyed following along with the new deliveries posted on this forum so I thought I'd share my own.
Yesterday I took delivery of 2018 NFGT 0043. If you've checked the "Ford GT's So Far" thread you may have caught some of the photos already, so I'll include some different ones here. It's painted in Miami Blue, one of Porsche's stock colors. I was torn between that and liquid red, but ended up deciding that there could be no better car than this on which to go a bit wild with the color. When I took the trip to Multimatic last month I knew I had made the right choice, and seeing it in the sun yesterday was stunning. None of the cameras seem to be able to accurately capture the color, so you'll see it here as more of a baby blue when in person it has some green to it. Who am I kidding, most of you have probably seen a Miami Blue Porsche in person at some point so I need not explain.
As for the other options, I went with the black stripes, black calipers, black lugs, gloss carbon wheels and trim, standard exhaust, and standard dark energy interior. Happy to say there isn't an option I regret now that I've received the car. Now I've just got to wait another 3 days for the car to be wrapped before I can drive it. Painful.
Thanks again to Ford for the opportunity to own one of these, I know I'm a bit of an outlier from the usual crowd, but I'll be doing my best to live up to the honor as a brand ambassador. Anyway, on with the photos.
