Hi all, I am going to somewhat plagiarize another recent post on here as I too am considering selling my 2006 GT and am hoping to get the opinions from the members of the forum on its value. As far as what platform to sell on, I’ve put a lot of thought into this and believe BAT seems to be the “easiest” way to sell and at fair value. Although, I will likely officially list it here on the forum first before BAT as I had a very good experience buying this car from another member of this forum about 18 months ago and believe the folks here are genuine and as enthusiasts also easy to work with.
More on the car, it’s a 2006 Tungsten stripe delete with about 6500 miles (one of 25 tungsten full stripe delete cars made). I would classify the car as being in excellent condition. It is a two option car with BBS wheels and red calipers (no McIntosh stereo). The car currently sits with a pulley and tune (done by previous owner), bumper delete, short shifter, lowering kit, and X-pipe by Rich Brooks. Extras included are the OEM bumper, stock OEM exhaust with tips for bumper, extra set of grey OEM calipers (car currently has red OEM calipers on it), and car cover. It has just undergone its yearly service at Ford of Sawgrass, Florida by certified tech Brian Owens with no faults found.
The reason for me to consider selling is that I recently left my job to start my own company and although I could afford to keep the car it doesn't feel wise to do so especially given that I don’t drive it enough IMO.
Feel free to PM me with your opinions and thank you!
