Thanks for posting that. Chris Harris reviews are so compelling. I drove the new turbo S a few weeks ago and fell in love with it. I live in an area with lots of hills and every 911 I've owned (including my current 997.2 w DFI and PDK) feels pretty slow in this driving environment. The FGT climbs effortlessly on the same roads with so much power to spare. The new Turbo S felt lightning fast. Still no comparison to the FGT in terms of the visceral feel and all of the senses....but an unbelievably precise and fast car. Porsche is changing strategies and releasing the standard turbo second (early next year). A moderately equipped turbo S is priced in the mid 190'sK and the base turbo 150K. IMO, this is a terrific daily driver car for someone interested in staying "below the radar," as it is crazy fun to drive, but for me the standard turbo meets these criteria as well. Interestingly, The GT3 is definitely the preferred choice of most purists and priced in 130K range (first entire year of inventory is sold out).....
