I haven't noticed you before. Welcome to the Central TX gang. Do you live in town or out by Canyon Lake. I'm on Travis.

Nice build. Most are 720 to 750 rwhp. Have you dynoed yet?

This one has a 23psi pulley. :lol The car has about 200 miles on it since it left. He has another 300 to go before the tuning. He is out in the car today having fun. Not getting on it just breaking it in properly. Silverbullitt I am not the owner. He is going to register here hopefully and post once his car is tuned. Monday hopefully he will make his post with numbers :thumbsup This car is in the San Antonio area.

Thanks. Thats really all this was for Shadowman. And I higly reconmend to anyone to have the air brush persons come out to touch up the bolts on the car. It looks like it has never been touched. Hopefully at the carshow tonight I will persuade my partner to contribute to this site and show all the pictures. :thumbsup If not I'll still hang around and try to help out when I can. :biggrin

Outrageous!!

What exhaust tips did you go with (they look pretty sweet - a picture from the rear after install would be cool)? Can you elaborate further on the clutch and flywheel?

Jason Heffner pretty much took care of the exhaust. They sound great and the exhaust was worth the wait. :thumbsup

On the clutch what would you like to know? What you are looking at is a stock dual disk from ford. You send it to spec and they take care of the rest. Burnishing the clutch is a 500 mile procedure. Putting the clutch in you want to make sure your CLEAN. I cannot stress this enuff. It was no different that any other dual disk we have installed. Just used the proper alignment tool and gently screw in the pressure plate. Once it was secure and cenetered I put the 19 ftlbs on it with red loctite. Sounds easy enuff :) I was concerned about clearance of the bellhousing to the transaxle but my fears where laid to rest with a measure tape and striaght edge. The clutch disks are rated at 1000 + rwhp. Chatter on this new setup is present. When the car is cold there will be some chatter. As you drive the car it goes away. But this is all part of the burnishing process. You want to make sure the sure pattern sets itself up or you will glaze the clutch disks. As an update the owner called me last night and ALOT of the chatter is gone and the 500 mile mark is almost here. :cheers Thanks for all the compliments on the work done. It means alot and I am glad I could provide this forum with pictures and some info.

Clutch

How does the Spec cluth engage compared to the stock unit? Is engagement less progressive? And is the effort higher if so, by how much?
