Can't wait to see if the Trinity will carry over, or if the rumored FPC variant will replace it. I'm hoping for EcoBoost technology.

Are those actual wide rear tires from the factory or are my eyes fooling me??? Z/28-size front tires too.

Damn Ford. Every time I get in the mood to buy a Corvette, the Blue Oval comes out with a Mustang I want more. The Corvette may wind up on the hind teat again.

Not the hind teat! But I know what you mean re: Mustang vs. Corvette.

I'm loving the Z Vette but still acclimating to that rear end. Not quite there yet.

Good thing it's IRS and carries some negative camber, cause if the rear tires were any wider, you'd tear a fender. Maybe a 315/35/19 rear tire. :biggrin

Note to Jamal: I HATE those damn (camo) covers you put over the wheels ~ reminds me when Penske showed up at Indy back in the 90's with those fugly aero wheels.

The bad thing about sharing a common supplier is that they blab when your competitors change components based on what shows up in spy shots. And now we see wheel covers.

Thanks for confirming this. I had heard that originally but have heard some conflicting whispers.

Feel free to expand on what WILL be under the hood :biggrin

Pretty sure it's these:

Not sure why they're hiding them now.

Yes, I understand. But it doesn't change the fact that the 'pie plate' look makes the hair on my neck stand up. Need a mullet to drive one?? :biggrin

That seems to be more than wild speculation on your part. lol

I've spent better than $2,000 on every modern Mustang I've owned widening rear wheels and installing decent tires. It will be nice to have them installed from the factory. I'm really digging the stance of the new SVT Mustang.

Not the wheels, what's behind them.

Big fat Brembos? Only way what's behind those covers would be a surprise/big secret is if they went with another manufacturer.

Big differences in rotor/caliper combos.

Frankly, I am just delighted that the rears are finally getting attention after being (design) locked into the OLD single piston TRW caliper (out back) in my Boss. As important as the caliper/disc hardware, Ford need to dial-in bias/modulation/feel - you can put 6 piston calipers on a car and have less effective braking from a control perspective. Gene is great with throttle control/modulation, hope he is as just as schooled with the brakes.

Does this mean you're trading in? :biggrin Also, not sure Gene is aware this so-called "brake" pedal exists.

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm afraid of.... :rofl

I think this is where I call my friend McGowan. He knows there are 3 pedals in the car. :lol

I've seen/heard that info as well but I follow a little more closely than most.
