Caffeine and Exotics in Atlanta

I'm sure many Atlanta area car enthusiasts are familiar with Caffeine and Octane in Alpharetta. Seems like there is a new event in Buckhead called Caffeine and Exotics, which is a free event limited to pre-registered exotics. They just posted a picture of a yellow FGT on their FB page saying they are hoping to have some more FGTs for their September 21st event. Anyone in? CnO is a bit cramped with all the cars, but since this event is pre-registered only, they give you lots of space to open those doors

Met the organizers of the event. Very enthusiastic about FGTs and anxious to have more at the show. Double wide parking spots, car handlers, free breakfast, and you only need to arrive 45 minutes early. Their business card is a picture of a red GT. If anyone else is interested, let me know.

My son Matt went to the show today and talked with BtwoG but I was out of town and could not make it. He said it was a great turnout with lots of high end cars, well managed and a crowd that was respectful of the cars. I will miss the October show as it is during the Rally but will try to make it in November

Had a nice chat with Matt at the show. It was a great event. Dont have to get there by 6AM like you do at Caffeine and Octane. I was there by about 7:30 and was probably the 10th car. Most people got in around 8:00. The breakfast was better than expected, and its nice to have a place to relax and watch the cars roll in. The patrons have a much higher respect for the cars than most other shows. The organizers thanked everyone on their way out of the event. I'll definitely be back. Oh yeah, and the girls in the tight black dresses were a good touch:biggrin

Probably not quite what you guys are seeing out in Vegas this week, but not bad for a car show.

One of the other forum members brought their blue car this morning as well. Sorry, I'm really bad with names. Hoping we can get a few more cars out there in the Spring. I heard they are not having the shows during the winter months.

I was there with My GT for the inaugural event, and just yesterday with my red 356 roadster (like to mix it up) John (my old high school chum) is doing a great great job with the event, and by assigning nice wide parking spaces, he keeps the riff raff out (rice burners etc) and it will be event that will grow in size and interest. Two GTs were there yesterday, the red one pictured and a blue one. Many many lambs to where it looked like a commercial for them!!!! The GT of course is so much more beautiful than those italian cars without a front end (LOL)
