It’s now possible to build a brand new ’64½, ’65 or ’66 Ford Mustang convertible from the wheels up using this latest Ford-approved and officially licensed body shell.

Dynacorn has been doing these "new" bodies for some time.... Also believe they have a 6X camaro offering.... I looked at the 69Mach1 body after I tore off the quarters, fenders, trunk, F/R valance etc... By the time I would have moved everything to the new body, painted etc... it was 1/2 the price of a FGT...

An issue I also ran into to is the "VIN tagging" as the car would have to adhere to the ~2008 safety standards then in NC as it would have been deemed a kit car.....

BTW -Sam, what id you do to "refurb" the vette's hub caps? or did you buy a repo set?

I have been told it takes a LOT of man hours to make the Dynacorn stuff fit together like OEM.

FWIW.

Not to mention that in most states the registration/title process will become a headake, unless you are prepared to get a State Issued Vehicle Serial Number.......and it would be for the current year...

Just moving the VIN from one car to the (new) other would be a State NO NO ....(even Federal possibly) ......
