If you're looking for just a one time use thing, just cover the front end with blur painter's tape. Bit labor intensive to apply and remove but cheap and effective!

I've got at least 26K miles on my Speedlingerie bra and mirror covers. Special Ed is certainly trying to get my goat. It has been perfect in all weather. I've been caught in lots of rain. No problems, no scratches. Mine is REd with white, and despite wiping it down with vinyl protectant often, it is fading, but still looks good. The mesh screen that covers the radiator is a life saver to keep out bugs and debris. I've had it over 160 mph with no problems. The company has worked out all the bugs for fitment by now. There is a difference between an '05 with a screen and later '05's and 06's without a screen. I also have the license plate zip-on holder but the LEOs have never said anything to me so I've never needed to use it. The mirror covers are also a great investment. The front of my car and the mirrors are as nice as the day I bought it. I can't say enough good about it. But cost is about 1K so it's not something I would just throw away.

Gee Tee - the Xpel is invisible! You cannot see it. The self-healing is ultra cool. Scratch it or ding it & watch it disappear in a few minutes. Amazing stuff. I've had numerous films over the last 7 years & this one is the ultimate. I have 3 cars protected by Xpel. I had a long discussion with them at SEMA. They will have a very neat windshield film soon. Go film!

PS I love getting Dr Frank going!

Here are a couple different angles.
I had driven about a hour in the pouring rain to a photo session for the son of a friend of mine. He wanted to have the GT in his senior pics. The bra was still drying out, so there were some mild wrinkles that smooth out once it completely dries.

Oh, and one of the convertible as requested.

Thank you all for the input. Ed I may consider the Xpel later this year but for rally may just do Bra. FJPIKUL thnx fo your input asd well. grey Ghost, Love your pics and especially the Blue GT500 is so nice with black stripe. Do the mirrors really get chips often???BTW, are the lights covered with clear vinyl on the bra or are they cutouts?

They are covered by thick, clear vinyl, as are the fog lights and the turn signals. I bought the mirror covers to keep the bugs off the paint. i also ordered the bra with the license plate option so I can zip it on if the LEOs stop me.

Just got another Xpel ultimate bra put on my new F150 Platinum. Not as exciting as on the GT but same quality and installation.

Still going back and forth with my XPEL installer about getting it redone. Not getting satisfactory resolution. Never had to resort to this, but I may have to submit a claim for a chargeback. Hate to do it, but he's leaving me no other option.

What were the issues needing panels replaced? The guy who installed mine has done over 2000 cars and he still sends tons of time to get it right

Edges lifting, horrible folds and tucks where the film wraps around into the wheel wells, not only cosmetically unappealing, but also trapping debris and dirty water.

Installer was not competent or just starting out. Either way I would file a claim it will be interesting how they stand behind their installers.

Just ordered bra from SpeedLingire. I am still not sold on clear bra (Xpel) as I see so many cars which the clear bra just takes away from the look of the car... Anyway, I will probably never put front plat on but the option they have requires buttons in front. Do they look OK???

They are two snaps. No big deal. As a matter of fact, the only way I can tell my car from BigInch Blake's car while running on the track (besides my being faster and safer) are the two snaps on the bra. The top of the plate holder snaps on to the two snaps and the bottom zips on. Quite a good idea, but I've never had to use it.

But, if you accessorize correctly, you don't even notice the snaps.

Not sure if Speedlingerie has been able to officially add this option yet though.
