I know by now most everyone on the forum has the billet vents but I wanted to pass along just in case some have been sitting on the fence about any of the billet items. My machinist has taken a full time job with a military contractor and has shut down his shop for any future work so I have listed below what he has left.
12 sets of top and side vents, 4 upper seat inserts, and 2 engine bay braces left in stock so if anyone is in need please contact me ASAP.

Moderators please consider making this a sticky if you feel it is appropriate.

I have been looking at the OEM top and side vents for a while and was curious if the top vents are raw/unfinished? I see the option for a black powder coat for the side vent but is there a finish option for the top as I am going for a direct OEM replacement. I would ultimately need black to match the stripe.
Thanks Mike

Mike,

I was concerned about color match too..... Paint codes, age, etc. Took the top unfinished vents to a reputable shop with the OE ones for reference. I'm not a paint guy but there is apparently no secret, gloss back is a perfect match. These peices are perfect, quality is remarkable. You cannot tell that they are not original, unless you hold them in your hand. Then you will appreciate these over the factory plastic. Buy with confidence. No affiliation here, just a satisfied customer.

Thank-you for your advice and photos, as we share the same ...only color for a GT. I have thoroughly enjoyed your NASA posts, as well as the HQ photos of the orbiter and launch vehicle. I had the opportunity to see a day launch of Atlantis from the VIP area, which was a once in a lifetime experience for me. I was hoping to run into you at Rally X, but it seems you were unable to attend. Maybe another time.

Top vents are unfinished. John shipped mine to the GT Guys for painting. There's some labor involved in preparing the vents for painting. Cleaning up CNC milling I guess. The paint (white for me) is a perfect match. Black should be easy.

The top and side vents look exactly OEM, except that they are not cracked and warped. :lol

Mine are black and match perfectly. Had this on my blue car and they looked great in white too. A must have!

Mike the top vents are raw unfinished but you can get the side vents either way with the black powder coating a perfect match to the OEM. Many forum members have me send the top vents directly to the GT Guys for painting (additional cost to the buyer paid to the GT Guys).
