Please post in this thread if you are running at the Mile and your car has:

A Whipple
A Twin Turbo System
Any setup producing 700+rwhp.

We'd like to stagger the cars running a large amount of power that will likely cross 190 mph, and also SpeedTV called and were trying to make the case for doing an episode of Supercars Exposed of our day at the mile. Obviously, non-stock cars helps.

  1. DBK (TT)
  2. jbsteven (TT/SC)
  3. BlackIce (Whipple)
  4. Shelby#18 (Whipple, TT)

I only has a little Gen 1 Whipple, so I am low on the totem pole.

1. Stock
2. Stock with tune
3. Pulley and tune
4. Gen 1 Whipple
5. Gen 2 Whipple
6. Gen 3 Whipple
7. TT, TT + Blower

Of course nitrious (soroush) or a built motor (Sims) moves you up a class or two.

I have one of each. :biggrin

Peak?

oooooo, Supercars Exposed might show? would be nice.

Tanner can drive my car if he so chooses.

Heffner TT here! :)

Tires and Tire Pressures

I'm a little concerned about everyone that's gearing up for the Texas Mile - and I think it's important that everyone realize that the tires used for the event should be rated for the speeds that you intend to achieve.

Furthermore, tire pressures are also tied to the tire which you will be using - and, if you are not using the stock Goodyear tires, you should find out from the manufacturer what pressures they recommend for the tire you are using at the speeds you may reach.

For the stock Goodyear tires, also, please read the "Warning" sticker inside the driver's door with respect to the tire pressures needed for speeds exceeding 150 mph. For those of you who have already shipped their cars - the photo below shows the sticker and the 40 psia recommendation.

Gen 1 Whipple and heavy foot! Ralphie. We will need to add air for the Thursday "mile" run. Wednesday is the road course. See ya Tuesday night. Rich

Are we going to have the new 4.0 Whipple show????

I'll be running.
