Bendpak Owners - alternative ramp option?

Hi all,

I got my new Bendpak HD9XW lift installed today (of course they sent the wrong 220v motor so not in use yet). I’m noticing right away the metal ramps are going to destroy the border of where the epoxy meets pavers. Race ramps said they do not make anything that fits a Bendpak. Neither does Bendpak. Has anyone found a solution for lighter ramps safe for a floor that work with a Bendpak?View attachment IMG_8032.jpeg

I don't have a Bendpak lift ,but got the 5ft Race ramps with the hooks & the separate extenders they should work with any ramp, you don't need the hooks ,i have to use the extenders only for the 911 turbo. They are so light & easy to deal with compared to the metal ones that come with it.

I got a Bendpak last month. I purchased the optional extended ramps from them. The yellow ones you have are the standard ramps. They a diamond plate aluminum with a hard plastic piece on the end of the ramp. Work great with my epoxy floor and GT.

I have 2 sets of these, used in a bunch of applications, In your case you could get them really close and use a small piece of wood to fill in the notch to drive onto the lift (not a bridge, just close enough), or you could land the Bendpak ramps on the notch very close to what extrap does as pictured above.

Exactly what Specracer said. He's using the 2-piece 72" ramps, we have the 1-piece versions. Use Gorilla construction glue to add a piece of wood to fill in the notch. I was skeptical about the glue but 5 years later, the wood is still in place.

Yeah, the race ramps are super light and weigh absolutely nothing ,compared to lugging around those big metal ramps.

I use a set of race ramps built for trailers (3-4 ft with a notched on top). Then put the metal ramps on top of the notch in the race ramp, effectively making a 2 piece ramp.

I have the same lift and have the optional extended ramps that have the plastic protectors on the end. They work perfectly and don’t damage the floor at all.

Further elaboration, we have at least 2 cars that wont go on with standard ramps (low ride height with splitters and they hit). The 6' ramps solve this. 2nd we land the flip out trailer door extension on the notch (put blocks under the trailer door to elevate it). This enables us to load our race cars with out having to unhook the trailer to raise the front to flatten out the transition at the trailer door hinge. With out this, they "high side".

I use the yellow steel ones together with the trailer race ramps. My car is lower than stock so this setup is a must for the approach angle.

I use the stock blue steel ones, race ramps, and 2x4s as well. My car is lowered on the TA set-up
