Barrett Jackson Scotsdale - Ron Pratte and Carroll Shelby Super Snake Cobra

The Ron Pratte Silver no stripe 2005 Ford GT serial #003 sold for $550,000 plus 10% commission so $605,000 all in.

Carroll Shelby's personal 427 Super Snake Cobra reached $4,700,000 but did not sell.

There was only one bidder on the Super Snake, he bid 4.1 and was run up to 4.7. It will be interesting to see if a deal can be done.
Prices of the 05/06 GTs are strong.

didn't Pratte pay 5M ot 5.5M for the super snake years ago? therre are a lot of deals that go on after the hammer, one way or another.
was the reserve thing something new or was that only for the Pratte collection?

Pratte paid $5 Million plus 10% buyer's premium for CSX3015 at BJ in January, 2007 - I was there...

One of my favorite Cobras. Have seen it a number of times over the years at Shelby Conventions. Even worked on it at one Convention to get it running well enough to make a few exhibition laps at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
