Hey guys, just wanted to give you a heads up on some of the items that will be available during the charity auction. As in years past, the money will continue to go to the Jerry L Pettis Memorial Center at the Loma Linda Veterans Affairs hospital. We don't have any cars to auction off this year, but we've still got some great stuff. Thanks in advance to everyone who has donated items for this event.
This is this year's event art done by Camilo. Instead of doing posters, this year everyone that attends will receive a print on archival canvas featuring the two original pieces Camilo did for the event. If you're wondering why there is no name by "Design by", it's because Ford GT Chief Designer Camilo Pardo will have his silver sharpie at the ready to sign the real deal.
One features a Heritage Ford GT going around Texas World Speedway (which we actually shot in real life for the artwork) and the other is a white GT blasting down a runway (inspired by a familiar Ford GT concept car photo). Both of these original pieces will be available at the auction.
There will also be three enhanced giclees with the event graphics from Ford GT National Rally IV on them. I don't have them digitized but they will be on display.
Classic Design Concepts has graciously donated a Sweet Ass Bumper Delete Kit ($3800). Thanks to our buddy George at CDC for donating this great product. Hopefully if you've got a Mustang or Challenger you check CDC out as well, as they are a local Detroit company that puts out a lot of great products across a range of vehicles.
Heffner Performance has graciously donated a new Titanium Cat Back exhaust with a retail value of $3000. Many thanks to Jason and the crew.
Alternative Automotive Technologies has graciously donated a full size Ford GT coffee table, painted in the color of the winning bidder's choice ($2500). Many of you know the team at AltAutoTech from their day's over at Saleen. Thanks to Bryan Chambers and AltAutoTech for hooking us up with this great item for the charity.
Also available will be a set of Billet Rear Clamshell Vents ($850), a set of powerdercoated billet side clamshell vents ($700) and a one of a kind billet Ford GT car model engraved with FGT National Rally IV Austin Texas ($450). Thanks a ton to pe2unia and his local machinist for taking the time and effort to produce these great items. If you don't have this stuff already, or you miss out on it at the auction, they are must haves.
Project 321 has graciously donated a set of Carbon Fiber door sills ($350), a set of billet aluminum door sills ($550) and a complete Carbon engine dress up kit ($625). Thanks to Jake and Project 321 for donating all these items to support our Vets.
Exoticare has graciously donated a Ford GT aluminum shifter bezel ($485), a set of Ford GT embroidered floor mats ($285) and a set of the ultra popular Ford GT seat Hot Buttons ($280). Many thanks to Andrew at Exoticare.
Cooltech has graciously donated a Ford GT transaxle cooler ($840). Many thanks to our fellow Ford GT owner and modder Kendall aka nota4re.
I'll update it with more stuff as I can snag it.
I'd also like to thank in advance our additional sponsors for the Rally:
Cody and American Racing Technology.
John Hennessey and Hennessey Performance Engineering
Jason Heffner and Heffner Performance
Shelby at Elite Autos
Don Warren and Safecraft
Kip Ewing of, um, Kip Ewing
Drew Yagodnik and Classic Auto Insurance
Many thanks in advance to all of the above. It quite simply would not be possible to put on an event of this magnitude and bring together this many members of the team without their continued support of the forum and the Ford GT National Rally! :cheers
