Amelia Island Concours D'Elegance

Anybody planning on attending this year's Amelia Concours? It is Sunday March 14th, though the whole weekend is full of car events. It's a great show with a wonderful display of vintage cars and racers on the lawn of the Ritz Carlton.

This year will see Richard Petty, Stirling Moss, and Don Garlits present, and conducting a seminar. Get your tix early for that event.

If you are coming, we'll be displaying our 1939 Cadillac model 75 series convertible coupe in the pre-war class (see below).

She's come a long way in the past month or two getting her ready for the show and accompanying road tour. We have a handful of last minute preparations yet to do, including one pesky rear pinion seal that has been tormenting us.

I'll be working as a volunteer at the Porsche Driving Experience on Friday. Are you doing that tour?

I won't be doing the Porsche tour this year, as I was invited to do the FedEx tour with my Caddy. The Porsche tour is usually fun.
The FedEx tour should be nice as it's open only to select cars in the show, and then by invitation.
