Hi,
My question is after all the years of driving and owning many different kinds of cars which vehicle do you wish you still had?
I guess do you still wish you had the car or is the current FORD GT the all time favorite car to date?
As a constant reminder just on Sat. morning while heading to a North Phx Kool FM car show( 1000+ cars). I was driving with the windows down and I heard from 2 lanes over a scream or shrill coming from a black SUV.
I look over and see this nice looking chick smiling from ear to ear with her camera in her hand. She smiling and gesture for a picture while we are driving 65mph! This GT is a constant reminder of why I spent my HARD EARNED money for this awesome fantasy machine!!!
On every time I take this car out for a spin I get some wild reactions. There hasn't been a car I have owned that draws the attention this car gets and the respect this car demands at every intersection.
So in closing if you could turn the clock back would you say the GT is your all time favorite car or some other car?
Man I think I,am ready for a spin!!
Weather is greeeeeeeat....BillyRay

NO QUESTION....THE GT IS MY KING OF THE ROAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FGT. Absolutely. No question. Period.

F GT

The first new car I ever bought.

=FORD GT======

ftw......:usa

FGT FTW.

Nothing else even comes close. :driving:

Definitely FGT. I haven't owned anything else in this league but I've got tons of seat time in expensive toys and this is the one that most stirs the soul.

The FGT is a keeper

I have owned, and currently own LOTS of cars. Everyone asks, "Which is your favorite?" Without hesitation, I answer, the Ford GT.

Shocking :lol

Would have been better to ask what your second favourite car is on a GT forum.

Me?......I always respond by saying to people it depends on my mood and the weather.

But now it's the GT but I've not had it long. My 997RS is a better car out of the box....simply superb. It just buzzes.

First - McLaren F1
Second - FGT

No surprise. I say the same thing as my twin Tim. The next question is usually which one? That answer is easy; whichever one I am driving.

Yes, obviously the GT!

However, if the question was what is the second all-time favorite, I would have to say the original Pocket-Rocket: Renault 5 Turbo from the early-mid 80s. I was fortunate enough to have owned 2 of these, 1.4 liter, 210hp mid-engined, 2000lbs, with 285s tires in the rear. They were a riot. I sold them when the parts started to become hard to get. I remember my first track event, in 2000, was with this car at Laguna Seca. Being a first timer at a track event, the better drivers were at my tail and I was pointing them by during all sessions in the morning, then came the afternoon I got tired of pointing (I know, I'm supposed to, but the kid in me said at least once see if they could pass you at the front straight when driving skills are not a factor), so the first session after lunch, as usual, right after turn 11 at the front straight 2-3 cars were behind me almost every lap. I pointed, but this time I didn't let up on the gas, the Porsche carrera's and the vettes just couldn't get next to me (let alone passing me and these cars were like 15 years newer than my little R5 turbo) at the end of the straight. After the session, a couple of these drivers came and said, "hey buddy, nice car, but you're supposed to lift when you do a point-by for us to pass you. This thing got a lot of speed.....) Of course, I "apologized" profusely, but after they walked away, I had a big grind on my face for the rest of the day. Goodtimes, goodtimes....

GT,, its the only car I ever drove and told myself, you know, I just have to have another one!:lol that has never happened before, and I never contemplated buying two of the same cars, not until I got my first GT:thumbsup

Ain't that the truth...

The ONLY car that I ever sold and then realized what a big mistake!

The Ford GT is GREAT in every way!:thumbsup

I've never owned a car that could hold a candle to the GT. The fact that so many of us have two (or more) of the same car says it all.

I wonder how many Ferrari fans own two 430's?

F1!!! Lucky bugger. :eek I've never owned an F1, maybe one day as it's at the top of my dream list, but of all the cars I've ever owned or driven, definately the FGT.

I don't have two 430's, but I do have two 360's. One, a 2000 Modena F1, the other a 2004 360 Challenge Stradale. I would have to say that the Stradale is definitely my second favorite car behind the FGT. It doesn't have the power, but it does have the handling, brakes, and a visceral F1 scream that makes it a completely different experience overall.
