Thanks to Shadowman, I now have some of his baffles installed in the tips of my Accufab X-pipe. I much prefer the new note. Took some of the "crack" or "edginess" out of the sound while driving around town. Still has all the growl you want when you get "on it". The baffles also reduced the drone that occurs when you hold the throtle at around 2,000 rpms, as in climbing a long hill in 4th gear. Love the resullts, Shadowman!! Thanks again for all your help.

Here are a couple of pics.

Try the Borla "Ford racing muffler". It's perfect. Just enough growl, no grown! PD

Thank you for the kind words; I enjoyed being able to work with you through this project; I like cool little personal tweaks.

Now having said this John aka AccuFab made my job much easier because he was kind enough to ship me a AccFab exhaust to use during the creation of these piece as such "thank you John"

I am glad that you enjoy the tweak and as the result hopefully you will find yourself exercising her more often

Now as for the Ford Racing muffler; this is certainly a wonderful option however for many one of the goals is to eliminate the radiant heat source as created as the by-product of any conventional style muffler.

It was as the result of this desire that I completely thermal wrapped and sealed this particular Accufab exhaust prior to having him install it.

All the best

Shadowman
