Hello to all who read this and hope all are heathy and safe. My question to all is I have been trying to figure out if the 2019 Heritage Gulf Edition Ford GT is actually the only 50TH anniversary Heritage car. In 1966 the Ford GT that won LeMans was a black/silver striped car the matching Heritage edition car is a 2017. In 1967 the Ford GT that won LeMans was red/white striped the matching Heritage Edition car is a 2018. In 1968 the Gulf Edition Ford GT won LeMans but no Heritage Gulf Edition car was built in 2018. In 1969 The Gulf Edition Ford GT won LeMans and Sebring and the 2019 Ford GT Heritage Gulf Edition was built to celebrate 50 years of the Ford GT racing. In 1970 the Ford GT did not compete at LeMans the 2020 Heritage Gulf Edition Ford GT does not equal 50 years of Ford GT racing. In my humble opinion the 2019 Heritage Gulf Edition Ford Gt's are the 50Th anniversary cars. Ford has said in its 2019 Gulf Edition articles that this car was built to represent 50 years of Ford GT racing. I do not want to get this wrong and again I am only talking about the Heritage cars. I am having 50TH anniversary badges and floor mats made for my car so please if you have another thought or opinion I welcome it. Thank you Dave
