3 is Company - Living in West LA and having a GT

Well, like the saying goes "Three's Company", especially if you own a Tungsten 06 GT and live in West LA - Palisades Highlands - Malibu! Through the use of the GT Forum and Awsum GT and his California GT registry, us locals got together on the spur of the moment fantastic cruise up the Pacific Coast Highway to Point Dume, a great beach restaurant and some celebrity viewing, oh and you had to own a Tungsten GT. Pacific Coast Highway Tungsten GT Club's maiden run!

Met at the Union 76 station on Sunset Blvd and the Pacific Coast Highway at 11:00 AM. AtomicGT & zim32 & Woboose. Plan was to cruise up PCH, stop at a restaurant and see what happens. Followed Woboose, a local Malibuian, through Cross Creek, Pepperdine University, past Malibu Seafood, Geoffery's and up to Zumeriz Road. Left on Zumeriz winding down to The Sunset Restaurant where prime valet parking appeared immediate out of the ocean mist when we drove up. Cars where like magnets, brought all kinds of viewing public for photos including 2 CHiPs and their cruisers.

Then it was off for a photo in front of P Anderson's address, back around the winding roads of Point Dume, a quick visit to Woboose's Estate, and then a rather quick return in and out of traffic heading south on the PCH.

A most excellent Day, Woboose and zinm32! We will do it again! :cheers

gas? Woboose has had his GT about one month, 3000 miles, says he just can't get enough of driving it. And he has the PCH fairly well in control.

Hey I think we should copy cat those guys and do a SoCal Heritage run. Of course George, I will only do this if mine has the same decals as yours. Bruce & Matt are you in?

Midnight Blu, you're suppose to be with Blanche crusing around the world or something like that and now you are talking about a Heritage Cruise? Tungstens are a little faster as aerodynamics show that the airfoil and wind resistance are lower on Tungsten GTs that Heritage GTs, and the stickers slow the Heritagecar way down. So you Heritage guys need a run in Orange county and invite us to join you! The Smoking Tungsten West LA GT Association (STWLAGTA) would take you light blue and orange dudes on anytime. Remember we have Woboose! King of the twisties on the PCH.

George, if you have any contact with other OC and SD GT owners encourage them to make the Temecula-Palm Springs rally on the 18th of November? I am setting things up with the hotel tomorrow.

Trying to get AWsum GT and bony et al. down for the run but its like pulling molars, slow and tedious.

Neilda,

Ship your GT over and cruise the deserts with us! It rarely rains in So Cal Palm Springs area in November and we would love to have you join us. :banana

Bruce - enjoyed meeting you Sat. Did you get your camera and navigation installed? I forgot to look. I was too impressed with the other mods...

Okay, Mr. Midnight Blu,

'Bout time we come up with some number stickers for the Tungstens in So California. Where did you get the stickers. I think a nice Number 2, 1, 5 or 6 would be excellent.

Good clean fun...

PCH on a beautiful Saturday, 3 Tungsten GT's, full tank of gas, pizza and "beverage" - lets just say:

Living the dream.

Thanks, Zim and Atomic.

We welcome others to join us. Tungsten although the superior race is an equal opportunity club. Non Tungstens will of course have to ride in the rear.

Agree, Woboose, even in the rear for the other GTs to have the chance to breath combusted exhaust from a Tungsten is an rare opportunity many regular drivers and Ferrari owners would die for!!! Definitely a place for the Heritage crowd, for sure! :thumbsup

Enjoyed it very much, enjoyed the celebrity stop, your estate and our little mechanical offspring, which performed well going back with the crazy trucks and drivers heading into Santa Monica. Again, mon ami, looking forward to the Temecula run. :banana

Mission Impossible I

Your job, Woboose, is to secure the participation of the Blonde one for the next run!

Randy,
It was nice meeting you also. I'm taking the car in for the final install of the nav and backup camera. And speaking of mods, I might have my guy look at taking the sub out to make room for a shelf to store my helmet. Once I have all the items done, I'll post pictures for everyone.
