No responses this year so the GT Forum dinner on Thursday night is cancelled.

Gentlemen,

The more things change, the more I stay the same!! Last year we missed this event because a bunch of us (including me) were at the 24 Hours of Daytona but now we're back!! It was a blast the last 17 times and I'm certain it will be even better this time. If you're going to this year's Scottsdale auction you don't want to miss our annual "Gathering of the Faithful". As always this will be on Thursday night, January 23, at 7 PM. Make sure you get into Scottsdale early enough to make it. We will return to our fabulous private room at the Capital Grille and you never know which VIP's will show up. 2 years ago "The Urban Outlaw" Magnus Walker joined us along with David Kimmerlee and a couple Ford Motor Company executives. Special VIP parking will be provided for members bringing a GT.

Post up here if you will be joining us letting me know how many in your party and if you are bringing a GT (most attendees are without their GT for this event). Be there or be square.

Gentlemen,

These events have always been well attended and I know a bunch of our members will be at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale so I'll assume that after the Rally they haven't been checking the Forum very often. We also have members that will be back at Daytona. So please help me out. If you know someone attending BJS let them know about the Forum Thursday night dinner and have them post up here. I'll need to have a minimum of 25 people and have 11 as of now. If we don't hit that mark that's OK too BUT.....these have been a lot of fun and I'd like to see it carry on.

So join us!

Well..... After 10 days there has not been a single response so I'll wave off on this year. This dinner is officially cancelled. I'll give it a shot again next year if Daytona isn't on the same weekend. All the best gentlemen.

Lots of good deals both high and low!

I don't get trucks going for what they are. It's not new - been doing it for a few years. I can see something like an old Power Wagon (the coolest truck ever) but a 70s truck going for 80K boggles the mind.

Steve or Craig said he was in his skybox and would sign every 05-06.

I'm curious. Why did the 05 black, stripe delete car only go for $456,500? From what I've seen, stripe delete cars go for big bucks. Was it the 9132 miles that held it back or was it something else? The rest of the cars did great.

Ah, gotcha. I guess the turbos didn't supercharge the bidding .

If anyone tries to look up cars from last week I found the browser based desktop page to be all but unusable. It used to be you could see the entire docket as a list and search (from within the browser) and open individual vehicles. Now they give you 48 large image panels at a time. Let's say "zeroing" on on a date/time is tedious. Plus their entire old docket is completely changed and not intuitive. I sent them feedback (from my contact when I sold my car). If you think it's a step backward let them know. I'll send you my contact if you don't want an anonymous entry.
