2006 Tungsten - Never Titled

Guys - I had the privilege of taking a private garage tour this weekend from the Carmel Valley and into Silicon Valley. Two of the collections I saw will probably rank in the TOP 10 lifetime collections I will be able to see.

Anyway, one of our stops was yesterday evening at Bruce Canepa's. In addition to an original GT40 that he has for sale, he has a 2006 Tungsten GT - which has yet to be titled. It does have just under 1,500 miles on it. But again - never titled. He's asking $185,000.

I wish I was in the position to make an offer on this, but I'm not. So hopefully someone from our group can snag it. I don't know any other details about the car and unfortunately did not speak to him long enough about add'l history.

Anyway, thought I would share that.

What was the asking on the original? we were taking guesses several weeks ago.

I did not ask about the original GT40. I knew it was way, way more than my bank account could handle.

But if it was $2M...that would've been cheap compared to some of the cars I had the privilege of seeing this past weekend. There were two that were over $20M. And a handful in the $10M-$20M range. You know...usual vintage Euro...Ferrari's, Bugatti's, Alfa's, and so on.
