Just joined the 10,000 Mile club yesterday. Beautiful clear, cool day coming back from from my niece's wedding. Gave my nephew a ride to breakfast, he had a ball. This car is a Rock Star! We lost track of how many times we had our picture taken. Saw a Ferrari Testarossa (could it actually be wider than a GT?), a 328GTS, and a couple of Lambos out on the drive too. Great day. Great Car! :thumbsup

How many others have over 10,000 miles on their GT? If you don't, you're missing out on a ton o' fun!

I,m with you there, Dan, the cars are most fun when driven, though they are also nice to just watch in the garage. Approaching 27,000 miles here, but nowhere near my buddy in the Northwest, Jeff (PL 510). Every mile is a blast, and those on the road courses even more fun. Keep having to purchase pads and rotors for that kind of fun is the only drawback; yet the easiest pad and rotor change on any car I have worked on, and the prices are reasonable, so no reason to stop. (Never worry about an airbag cover blem either.) Keep going.

Yes there is. Three or four members.

Mine has 62,186 as it sits in the Driveway.

When you see it at Rally IV it will have +- 65,000.

Road trip to Texas starts for me in 2 hours.

See "U all" in Austin. Safe Travels for each of you.

I'm glad to hear people are putting miles on their cars. Every car I see for sale has so few miles, I thought I was the only one driving mine. Long way away from catching you guys, but I put 2500 miles on my X1 in the last 6 months for a total of about 4000.

I think the X1 is a double edge sword. It is wicked cool and fun beyond words (as are the hart top GTs of course), but I tend to worry quite a bit while driving about some knucklehead swerving into me while taking cell phone pics. Just can't get on ebay and pick up a replacement X1.

Sooooo, I'd love to drive it more, but it's a little stressful; anyone else get stressed while driving?

Ouch! :biggrin

:banana Generally, those of us unworthy types, don't have a selection of GT's to choose from.

I guess The Forum needs a "special class of rules" for those that have twin, tripplets, quad's, quint's and sextuplet GT's. I hereby nominate Special ED and Sir Dr. Frank The Red to be modertors, as they both seem to still be able to do two things at once, in multiple languages.:ack

So Mr. Baked Potato - throw out the guantlet - what's your total for all GT's in your fleet?

I put on 2000 miles in last 12 months...in NY thats a lot.

Prior years I was just meandering around local back roads, and barely racked up mileage.

Now I use google maps to have min. 75 mile trips per outing. The car runs better, cooler, shifts smoother and starts nicely. I am filling up every 3rd trip and fresh gas is always flowing thru.

I plan to hit 10K in next 2 yrs.
