I could care less about the value, as I have loved the ford gt (40) since they won lemans in 1966 when I was 14 years old. I knew that I would never be able to own one as they were limited production racing cars, and then ford did a recreation in 05 06. I HAD to have one and fulfill my boyhood dream. I am actually sorry that the value has gone up so much and parts are so hard to find, as it limits total enjoyment always thinking would would one do if an old lady pulled out in front of you? Find the parts, find a competent repair shop, take a severe carfax hit, now have a repaired wreck as your dream car!!!
I agree I don’t care about the values. Someone sent me that from HAGERTY . I found it interesting so I shared it.It’s hilarious that you, Roketman posted this and you have always hated anyone else discussing values. We all knew you cared about GT values. “Just drive it and enjoy it”. Poor form given your previous responses to anyone else posting/discussing values on this forum. Stay consistent.
My GT coffee tableOr own more than one. One to value as a coffee table in your living room and one to enjoy on the road. And maybe one more to race?? Just enjoy this treasured vehicle either way…
